QUANTITY: 10 Between the ages of 3-7 years, children are becoming aware of the basic emotions (including happy, sad, angry, safe, scared, surprised, worried and proud). When you help them understand their own feelings, it gives them a sense of what’s going on around them and building on emotional vocabulary gives them a chance to practise managing their bigger emotions. Paired with the 'My First Emotions' workbook, these can give children the chance to explore what certain emotions mean to them, drawing what they look like and ways to support the bigger emotions. Using the stones, they can also get creative and make up a story or re-enact a situation in a safe way. Made from recycled glass pebbles Allowing for variations, average approx size of each stone 5cms x 3.5cms CE/UKCA tested for over 3-year-olds.
